DEPUTY PRIME MINISTER TATIANA GOLIKOVA AND EDUCATION MINISTER SERGEY KRAVTSOV PRESENTED RED DIPLOMA TO TSPU GRADUATE

The ceremony of awarding diplomas with honors to 38 best graduates of Russian pedagogical universities in the Year of the Teacher and Mentor took place at the Moscow State Pedagogical University. Sophia Lomovskaya, a graduate of the Faculty of Technology and Economics, received a red diploma from the Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation Tatyana Golikova and Minister of Education of the Russian Federation Sergey Kravtsov.

 
At the opening ceremony, Deputy Prime Minister Tatyana Golikova congratulated the graduates:

«I would like to congratulate you from the bottom of my heart on graduating from higher education institutions and getting one of the most unique trades — the profession of a teacher.Thank you for choosing it, for graduating from universities in the Year of the Teacher and Mentor.The teaching profession is becoming more and more popular.This year, 88 thousand new teachers are graduating from 229 higher education institutions that train teachers.We are very pleased that all of them will go to work as teachers»/

«The Ministry of Education is in charge of 38 pedagogical universities, including four pedagogical universities in the new subjects of the Russian Federation. To date, we see that the number of children who apply for the Pedagogy direction is twice as much as in the same period last year - over 160 thousand applications to date».


One student from each university participated in the ceremony who showed high results in academic, research and activist activities during their studies. Tomsk Pedagogical University was represented by Sofya Lomovskaya, a graduate and future master's student of the faculty of technology and economics, who has frequently demonstrated achievements in science, and in 2023 was awarded the Governor's Badge "The Future of Tomsk Region".

A vivid confirmation of this was an event that was significant not only for me, but also for graduates of other Russian pedagogical universities. I think it was incredibly important for everyone present to hear how special the teaching profession is in Russia, how much our state cares about the quality of professional training of teachers, how much the need to educate future generations to be literate, educated, knowledge-oriented people, patriots of their country is being realized», — Sofya said.

As our graduate noted, among the participants of the celebration were young teachers from the Donetsk People's Republic and Luhansk People's Republic, who shared the specifics of work in their regions.

The guests of the awarding ceremony were given a tour of the historic building of the main building of the Moscow State Pedagogical University, they were also given the opportunity to ask the Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation Tatyana Golikova and the Minister of Education of the Russian Federation Sergey Kravtsov their questions at the meeting in the hall of the Academic Council and were presented with memorable gifts.
