The team of Tomsk State Pedagogical University took part in the first championship for sports garbage picking, that was held in the Lagernyi garden of Tomsk. More than 50 participants gathered 1.1 tons of garbage from the territory of the garden within one hour. Employees of Tomsk State Pedagogical University have received two androids robots, which are going to take part in cybersoccer world champinonship in 2018. According to TASS, six robots for the teams, represented by three universities of Tomsk, were purchased for federal funds received by territorial innovation cluster of Tomsk region "Pharmaceutical products, medical equipment and information technology." The total amount of state support estimated to 196.6 million rubles, a single robot costs more than one million rubles.
